International Students

Today Italy ranks among the 8 most industrialised Countries in the world. Alongside some big companies, both state-owned and private, it has developed a sound network of small and medium-sized undertakings, promoted a few scientific parks, and is incentivating basic and applied research in a great variety of fields (biology, ICT, medicine, physics, etc.).

Italy has played an important role in European higher education: it is one of the four countries that first engaged to create the so-called "European Area of Higher Education" (Sorbonne Declaration, May 1998), thus starting that type of higher education reform which, known as "Bologna Process" (Bologna Declaration, June 1999) is being implemented all over Europe.

No other Country in the world has so many art and culture treasures like Italy. More than a half of historical and artistic estates of the world is in our Country (data UNESCO).

Italy is a Country reach in history and traditions, testfied by museums, cathedrals, residences, castles, archeologic sites, etc. Each place keeps important traces of the past and the natural environment surprises the visitor with mountains covered with snow and kilometers of shores all around the peninsula.

" Study in Italy" is a valuable information tool for students wishing to attend higher education (H.Ed.) programmes in Italy, both at undergraduate and postgraduate level.

Here's one reason why the US treats Cuba differently:
Although terrorism originated centuries ago, modern international terrorism orchestrated by the Soviet Union arguably began at the Tricontinental Conference conceived by Moscow and conducted in Havana, Cuba during January l966.
The purpose of the conference was to devise a "global revolutionary strategy to counter the global strategy of American imperialism." It resulted in the creation of an African, Asian, and Latin American Solidarity Organization based in Havana.
The Conference also passed resolutions advocating outside aid for groups fighting for "liberation"

Where is the best place to study abroad for an education major?

I've been looking into study abroad programs for next summer, and they all seem very interesting, but I'd like to go somewhere that would help with my major, interdisciplinary elementary and middle school education.

I'm writing this assuming that you want an experience you can apply to a career in some fashion (not necessarily as experience you can put on your resume) and that you plan to continue on the educator and/or liberal arts route (clearly you would not care about where to study abroad if you wanted to be a mathematician, since experiencing the world is not really needed for that subject). This is pretty much what I did when considering a study abroad program.

The first thing to do is sit down and figure out where you want to be in 5, 10, and 20 years after your degree is…

What are these country's like?

If you have ever been to
or Norway
Tell me what it is like! I really want to know!

Norway is a country that only got recently wealthy. In the past, it has been a poor possession of both the Danish and Swedish crown. A century ago, more Norwegians emigrated to the USA than stayed behind. Conditions were very hard and the climate, hostile.

But, after the second world war, half a century of socialism and the discovery of oil in the Norwegian Sea, Norway has become one of the best country to live in. The United Nation has declare in 2009 Norway as being the best country. Their evaluation is based on the living standard, welfare, human rights, education,…

2010: china has now overtaken japan to be the 2nd largest economy on earth.

PIGS Nations.

Portugal: great Explorers, Age of Discovery, sailed around the world. Language of Brazil.

Italy: Descendents of Roman, Roman Empire.

Greece: Greeks science, thinkers. Math. Architecture. Foundation of the West.

Spain: Sun Never sets on Spanish Empire. One-time great Empire. Language of the America?

PIGS: what happened to the PIGS Nations.

Gosh! I thought you were talking about real pigs... hahahahahah lol

I don't know why, but once my teacher in High School said that "all types of empire tend to decay". This will happen to the USA, with China and Brazil in the future etc. It doesn't mean they're gonna be poor or something, but they won't have the same power forever.

I hope I've helped you!
