Belk College of Business Summer Study Abroad in Italy

This program, led by Dr. David Woehr of the Department of Management, allows undergraduate students in the Belk College of Business to study international management and international economics in the Tuscany region of Italy.

Based in Castiglion Fiorentino, a small, walled city in the heart of Tuscany, students will live and study at the Santa Chiara Study Center. With a focus on international management, international economics, and the European Union, coursework will also have a cross-cultural emphasis. Students will be provided with a unique opportunity to learn about and experience cross-cultural differences through first-hand interaction with small business and local government representatives.

Because the program is designed as a joint program between UNC Charlotte and the University of Tennessee, students will be in residence in Italy with students from the University of Tennessee.

Dove mangiare?

by hh

I'm very excited, I'm going to go back to Italy on a 2-week vacation. (I studied abroad there my junior year of college)
I'm trying to plan where to go and what restaurants or local specialties I should try. I know there are a lot of Italians/Italophiles on this forum who will be able to help me out...
I'll be going to Venice first for about 4 days (this is where I used to live--showing relatives around and seeing old friends). I couldn't afford to eat out too much when I was a poor student, and what I did have was pretty hit or miss. I'd like to try Da Fiore, since Jeffery Steingarten gave it such a glowing review
